Bill Rustum has been the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Harkness Capital Management LLC since April 2022. Prior to that time, Bill spent 27 years with Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Los Angeles and New York, including 19 years as a partner in the firm’s Private Equity practice group. While at Gibson Dunn, Bill focused on buying and selling portfolio companies for Harkness Capital and other private equity firms, and handled various general corporate matters for portfolio companies during their ownership period. He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 1988, and a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law in 1994. Bill is admitted to the New York and California bars.
